William J. Hayes
Bill served as a police officer for nearly thirty years, serving in a wide range of assignments including patrol officer, training instructor, pilot, patrol supervisor, detective bureau commander and Chief of Police, before retiring in 2014. From 2014-2018, Bill served as the Executive Director of a regional crime intelligence center where he led a team of sworn and civilian personnel providing criminal intelligence, crime analysis, and investigative support using cutting edge technologies to over 40 law enforcement agencies at the local, state, and federal levels.
Bill holds a bachelorās degree in Criminal Justice from Mercy College, a masterās degree in Management from the Johns Hopkins University and a second masterās degree in National Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School, Center for Homeland Defense and Security. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, 226th session.
