Larry Landers
Larry served 26 years as a Special Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) with 20 of those years in law enforcement special operations. He attained certifications as a tactical instructor, tactical medic, explosive breacher, and as a bomb technician. Larry also served as the team leader for the GBI medical and breaching elements. He has been published nationally on the subject of SWAT and bomb disposal team integration. Larry was assigned to augment protective details for numerous US Presidents and members of Congress and has experience in various national security special events, to include; Super Bowls, the G8 Summit and the Olympics. He possesses extensive experience in conducting vulnerability assessments of key resource and critical infrastructure assets. Prior to his law enforcement career, Larry served as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman and completed assignments at the National Naval Medical Center Emergency Room in Bethesda, MD., medical support for a SEAL Team, and the Fleet Marine Force at Camp Lejeune, NC. He has provided training in tactics and tactical medicine at the local, state and federal levels and IED recognition to various US military units.
