Jalaine G. Ward
Jalaine retired from the FBI after 27 years of service as a Special Agent. She has extensive investigative and trial experience in the fields of White Collar Crime and Violent Crimes. She also served as undercover agent and directed undercover operations. For over 20 years, Jalaine served as the Division Coordinator for the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit consulting with agents and local police on complex murder cases, serial homicides, cold cases, threat management, and sex crimes utilizing her investigative experience, Behavioral Analysis experience, and training. During that time, she also served as the Division Coordinator for the FBI Crimes Against Children Unit.
Jalaine was certified as an FBI Instructor providing instruction to law enforcement officers, teachers, school administrators, and mental health professionals on a variety of topics including Crisis Negotiation, Sexual Exploitation of Children, Digital Safety, Threat Management, and Crisis Intervention. As experienced Crisis Negotiation Team Leader she conducted negotiations during critical incidents and also served on the FBI’s Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team for seven years. As a CART team member, she deployed to various parts of the United States to assist local law enforcement with missing children investigations, child abductions, and false reports of kidnappings.
