David Roels is a combat-tested leader with an exceptional ability to manage multiple large-scale projects, tasks and priorities effectively and in a timely manner. As a 20 year Army Veteran and 8 years working as a contractor/consultant, David has a combined 18 years of experience in government contracting. His demonstrated track record of success in controlling costs, increasing efficiencies, and identifying uncharted opportunities has contributed to the growth and success of the corporations he has worked with.
David began his career in the US Army as an infantryman. He is a graduate of the US Army Ranger School, Airborne School, Air Assault School and Pathfinder Course. David served as an Operational Advisor to Combat Commanders in Afghanistan from 2005-2011 and subsequently filled that role as a civilian from 2013-2015. When David was not deployed overseas, he worked in the Concepts and Integration Squadron of the Asymmetric Warfare Group (AWG). This position is where David gained insight into the government contracting program.
Since his retirement from service in 2013, David has worked for large defense contractors as well as very small Alaska Native 8(a) organizations. He now specializes in working with small businesses and assisting them as they learn to navigate different government contracting programs.
